As a continuation of The Herd’s traditional Zulu love letters series, this drop was inspired by my personal journey of birth, values and place.
These love letters are a dedication to heritage, my mother who is Chopi, an ethnic group that settled in southern Mozambique, to society and ideals I long for, and to the city where she was born, Maputo. The colour red which is beaded into each piece, signifies my bloodline, energy and primal life forces.
