Introducing Ladies, Wine & Design Maputo

Ladies, Wine and Design is a global platform in over 140 cities around the world. A movement initiated by Jessica Walsh, art director, illustrator, amongst other allocates. She started LWD with the intent of fostering dialogue as well as to empower women in the creatives industries. 

Guiyani Monteiro, founder of Ants, host the Maputo chapter. A salon night held bi-monthly, where  casual conversations on a wide range of topics relating to creativity, business, and life take place, whilst enjoying a glass of wine.

The first salon night 'LWD Maputo 01' was held on the 16th June, and a group of 10 ladies joined to chat about what inspires them in their respective creative fields. It was held at one of the ladies' homes and lots of honest, inspiring and bubbly conversations were exchanged. 

Guiyani is very excited and honoured to continue to create this type of dialogue in Maputo and let the community grow.
